Recruiting the Next Tour Guides
As a Recruitment Team Lead, I worked with my co-lead and coordinator to attract a diverse, talented group of new tour guides.
Our efforts resulted in 177 applications, surpassing pre-COVID numbers for the first time since Spring 2019—a milestone I was incredibly proud of.


I designed Instagram graphics to promote info sessions, key deadlines and recruitment updates. These visuals maintained a consistent brand presence, reinforcing recruitment opportunities while making information accessible.







I redesigned Tour Team’s info session presentations to be more visually appealing and structured for prospective guides. By refining the layout, I ensured that key information was clear and digestible. Our committee presented both short mini presentations to campus organizations and a full 45-minute presentation at our information session.

I used CapCut to create Reels that highlight the social aspect of Tour Team to build excitement around recruitment. These videos captured the camaraderie and unique experiences that come with being a tour guide, helping to attract prospective guides. We reached many of our highest-viewed and engaged-with content from these types of videos. Each reel was made with our prospective tour guide target audience in mind.
I used my Sony A7III to take high-quality professional photos during our semesterly content day, where we filmed a variety of promotional materials featuring our tour guides. These images helped strengthen Tour Team’s brand presence and created fresh assets to use in the future for marketing purposes.









I designed flyers in Adobe InDesign that were displayed across campus digital screens, ensuring high visibility and engagement for Tour Team recruitment.


I designed and managed a weekly recruitment newsletter sent to prospective guides who filled out our interest form, using Mailchimp to streamline distribution. Each edition provided updates on the recruitment process, insights into Tour Team activities and key next steps. This helped create a personalized, ongoing connection with potential new members, reinforcing their excitement about joining Tour Team.
